In our years on the “brand-side” of the table, we were always at a loss trying to find the right Amazon help for our businesses. Large agencies seemed like a safe bet, but often came with a fundamental misalignment of financial incentives, and effectiveness tended to nosedive at scale. A DIY approach seemed cost effective, but the vicious storms of the Amazon spared no one, and our brands could quickly get overwhelmed with the complexity. We decided the approach that most brands need to find long-term success selling on Amazon didn’t exist yet, and we abandoned our former careers to build it.
